He wants to fire his manager when he has done a great job this year. Is the owner on dope?

The owner of the Marlins is upset because Joe Girardi has clashed with him all season, dispite the fact that the players love him, and have played their hearts out for him. If he is fired and the Cubs hire him, I think it would be a very smart move for the Cubs. Girardi was a hard working player in his playing days and I feel is a very good manager and knows how to get the most out of his players.

The owner and manager of the Florida Marlins do not see eye to eye.
So the manager has to go because you cannot fire an owner. A boycott wouldn't do any good because nobody goes to marlin games anyway , unless they are in the playoffs. Fair weather fans! They should just move that team to a place where they would be appreciated.

He's not drunk, the problem is the ownership and management haven't been in the same page.... C'mon if you were going from the great dynasty of the Yankees with one year as a coach and then the next you are hired to be manager, they must be something wrong with ownership.... Look who was free to manage, and letting go of Girardi will be a mistake, as much I don't like him; despite being a Yankee faitful. All I hope is that Girardi can go somewhere and be appreciated for the manageral skill he picked up from Torre.

He is on some crazy **** if he is going to let an manager that help made and took a team that should have been in last place with a small budget, very young with only 2 big namers (Willis and Cabrera), and the worst team in the major to a contender of a playoff push.

He must has been, and still is on drugs.

Actually it is the Florida Marlins. The owner and the Manager do not see eye to eye, so you know who has to go.

LAURIA SHOULD STAY OUT OF THE WAY AND LET
GIRARDI MANAGE THE TEAM. FLORIDA HAS SOME VERY GOOD YOUNG PITCHERS AND IF THEY CAN ADD A QUALITY CENTERFIELDER THEY HAVE SOMETHING. THE TEAM SEEMS TO PLAY HARD FOR GIRARDI, AND AS A MET FAN HE WAS THE GUY I ORIGINALLY WANTED FOR THE METS, BUT I CAN'T COMPLAIN RIGHT NOW ABOUT WILLIE RANDOLPH. IF THEY FIRE GIRARDI AND LET HIM GO TO BALTIMORE THAT WOULD REALLY BE A SLAP IN THE FACE TO THE FANS. A GOOD YOUNG MANAGER AND A GOOD YOUNG TEAM IS WHAT THEY HAVE RIGHT NOW AND THEY WOULD BE CRAZY TO BREAK IT UP.
