I'm 18 weeks now too. I'm pretty chunky to begin with, so I'm not showing, but my lower belly has gotten hard and very full feeling. My OB said that that is a good sign and it will get a lot bigger in the next month or so. I find myself touching it more now that I can actually feel something there. So enjoy and congrats :)

Yes, that is your bundle of joy. You will start showing in about a month for all to see. Right now is your time to adapt to the thought that there is another life inside your body. You are at the beginning of the 2nd tri-mester. Just wait untill you feel him/her move for the first time, it'll feel like a big butterfly flapping it's wings! It's an awesome feeling. Good luck with a happy, healthy baby and congrats!

That sounds like your first pregancy. Congrat!
Yes, that's the baby, I would say. But more likely the uterus which contains the baby. By the week of 18, your baby should be as big as a large potato.

Yes, that is your uterus with you baby inside of it. At 18 weeks you should be able to feel the top of your uterus right below or right at your navel.

that is your uterus and it isgoing to get bigger quickly. in a few weeks, if you lay still, and put your hand on the lump, you may feel the baby move. its a really cool feeling.
