Don't ever stay out of guilt.....if you're not happy chances are the other person senses it and therefore isn't happy either.....be honest and do what you have to do

If you feel the relationship has run its course then you have to bring it to an end. I know its easier said than done but sometimes in these situations its best to let the other person know how you feel and that your not happy when your together.

If you are sure you want out of the relationship then say so. If you think the relationship is salvageable, then try talking about the parts of the relationship that is not working. At least let your partner know how you feel.

I was in the same situation...the guy was in love with me, but I wasn't in love with him anymore...I couldn't break it off though because I was too afraid of hurting him. Eventually I just started distancing myself from him, and the other day he finally came out and asked me if I was happy in the relationship, and I said that I just wanted to be friends.

If you're not happy, let your partner know. Give them a chance to work on things, and if they don't work out, break up. You have a right to leave a relationship that you are not happy in.

If your married then just try to work it out. You married the person, so now you have to make it work and CHOOSE to be happy. Happiness is a choice. If they are just a bf or gf, then break up with them.

Cut your losses now... the longer it drags on, the worse you're gonna feel about finally ending it. As Mick Jagger once sang... "A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW, NOBODY WILL KNOW... "

Just start stealing their money to buy beer and stuff, they'll get fed up and leave you, you get free beer, and you don't feel guilty about breaking up with them!

Get out of there.
