If I could live on $40,000 per year, I would buy bonds yielding 5% or more. Then I would take a series of investing classes to learn how to make more than 5%.

A million dollars doesn't go too far these days. So, I would buy a house on acreage for around $400,000, and then I would use the rest to start up a lucrative business that would fund my lifestyle for the rest of my life.

I would buy what I need to live, and then give the rest away.
You only need to live with what you need.
If I had 10 million dollars I would invest the rest into the society to stop poverty.
Since you made it a million I would save intill I had enough to help stop poverty.
That's where I see myself in ten years.

I would give to our 29 missionaries, and then help others. I would fix up the place where we live.
