prescott valley is not much besides residential; prescott, which is right down the road, is the place with things to do; there is a casino in between them, or two, there are plenty of outdoorsy things to do, and there are plenty of bars; Prescott is famous for an entire street of bars called "Whiskey Row" which is on one side of the downtown plaza (very easy to find); during the day they often have events at that plaza as well. i'm sure there's golfing too in the area.

Depends on the time of year that you go there. They have rodeos fairly often, festivals in the middle of town and a lot of great food :)

If you like to hike, there are some nice trails of all different difficulty levels. If you have a car, it might be worth a drive to check out Jerome, which is not extremely far away.

The Pumpkin Festival is about to start at Young's Farm in Dewey which is just a few miles from PV. It starts the first weekend in October and goes through the end of the month.
