Thank GOD only a few short years until GW can't run again and everyone can piss and moan about a different President!!
Yes, Canada has a MASSIVE oil reserve, however, it is strip mined and extremely detrimental to the environment.
The current media sensationalizes everything WAY TOO much.... Our current mission in Iraq is to reconstruct their government. To think that we're trying to take over Iraq, or anywhere for that matter, for economic and fuel spoils, is ludicrous!! Originally, we went to remove a dictator from power, and since there is so much strife in that region, felt the need to stay until a government could established was beneficial in the long term.
My last point, and one that everyone should remember is that OIL IS PRICED BY COMMODITY TRADERS on WALL STREET!!! The President and the US government DO NOT set oil prices, they may tax them to death, but they do not stand any personal gain. Gas in the Tampa FL area in now as low as $2.25 a gallon and falling!!!
Mark my words, auto fuel should continue to fall to about $1.50 a gallon, and soon... just be patient!!

9/11 had not a thing to do with Iraq. George's dad was head of the CIA when Saddam came into power. Sometime later Saddam threatened Daddy George. George Jr. is getting even for that threat. And a handful of people are making lots and lots of money off of the blood of our sons, daughter, and thousands of innocent Iraqi people. Some of the blood money is from oil, most is from no bid contracts to support the murder.

We do get some small portion of our oil from them. Don't remember the exact figure but it is like 10-20%.
However, even if we didn't get any from there, by changing the flow out of the middle east it tightens up or loosens up the oil market as a whole all over the world. And that raises or lowers our costs of gas.

It all depends if you are a Democrat or a Republican. Democrats believe we are really in an oil for blood war. Republicans don't but that. We independants like to sit on the fence and watch the two sides makes fools of each other.

No. This is nonsense. We're over there only after 911
happened and Bush went after the terrorists (who had
attacked US before and we did nothing) and he decided
we couldn't ignore 3000 innocent people being killed this
time. What's oil got to do with it? Why would US going to
war have anything to do with oil? Those who say that are
just "nuts". I don't see any more or any less oil being
transported so far.

I think it is now to the point of trying to save the world from total destruction at the hands of an increasing number of insane loose cannons in the middle east, N. Korea, Venezuela. There are probably more world freaks working on getting their hands on nuclear power for God knows what awful leverage.
I think things changed the world over when we realized that many of our enemies consider it an honor to die for their insane causes and expect to have all the sex waiting for them in heaven from 72 virgins each. Sex sells even for insane terrorists.

1) Yes, we're in an "blood for oil war"
2)We're in the middle east so people can drive the biggest damn car or truck their egos can carry in the trunk or in the bed
3)Wrong- the United States gets roughly 60% of its oil from the mid east. Who or how you got your information that we don't get our oil from them has given you very bad information.
4)We should invade Cana-duh- not for oil, or any other reason than to turn them into Mexico. They'd surrender quickly anyway. Mexico would be far harder to military take and conquer- namely, the hookers would slow down our soldiers.
5)Bush gets kickbacks/bribes from the companys he sends over to "pacifiy" the country- take Halburton as an example ok?
By the way- I deserve the 10 points for answering all 5 of your questions at one time, thanks

The Liberals just can't stand it when anyone but them is right.
Since they are out of the majority, anything anyone else does is wrong. They have no solutions, but everyone else's way of handling it is wrong...and the drive by media let them get away with it.
