If so, did you STOP once you found your sweetheart?

Sometimes when I see women wearing "sexy" outfits, I can’t help but wonder if she's looking for a boyfriend or hoping she'll attract her future husband? There is also the thought of, maybe she feels she has to display her body to compete with other women for her boyfriend or husband's love and attention?

And, as these women pass me by with their tight jeans and short mini-skirts, revealing blouses, tight sweaters and sheer pants on there way to work, school, to church and that wonderment of what’s behind all this fades a second thought comes to mind every once in a while. A thought of, do sexy clothes get women what they really want? Are these women striving to be honored, loved and respected by men?

Maybe it's a power rush for some women to know their body caught a man's eye and became the focus of his attention. Maybe turning heads and hearing hoots and whistles is an ego booster for some? Because there is no doubt that when a hot chick in a tight shirt or short skirt walks down the street, it's once again no surprise to see the head of every man she passes swivel with varying degrees of subtleness. But what most women don't realize is that far less than curve-hugging clothes are required to light a man’s fire. There are a myriad of seemingly innocuous things females do that are infinitely more arousing than a blatant flaunting of the goods.

paaatches –And, if dressing sexy is a tactic for snatching a man or to fill a void of the one night kind a real man has learned how to be comfortable around beautiful women for they don't affect him any differently than anyone else.

To me, dressing "sexy" doesn't mean my belly is showing or wearing butt skimming minis. To me dressing sexy is showing off your best assetts, wearing clothes that play up what you like and camoflauge what you don't like. I dress "sexy" for myself. It's sorta about pride... I don't get dressed so that people will look at me and think "she's sexy" but I don't want people to look at me and think "omigod"... The way I dress has nothing to do with finding a guy or anything like that.. and now that I have found my sweetheart I try even harder to look good so he can be proud of me!!!

yep, you can be sexy and fully clothed. you dont have to have everything hanging out. And why should you stop b/c of a sweetheart, if it makes you feel good about yourself then it will be reflected in the relationship

I guess it depends on what your view of sexy is. Sexy can be a great pair of jeans that hug in the right places, paired with a cute tee or top with a nice neckline -- very comfy to wear + it looks hot on. Sexy doesn't just have to be 6" heels, a mini skirt, and a tube top - sexy can be practical, comfortable, and stylish - it just depends on your own personal view of what sexy is.

Yes, I feel comfortable dressing sexy, not slutty. Duh, my husband and I have been married for 14 years and I still dress sexy. I'm pretty sure my brain wasn't the only thing that has kept him around all of these years. Not only does it not make me feel good about myself, my husband wouldn't be to happy to come home and find me in a ratty T-shirt and cut up shorts. I wouldn't be to find him.

Sure I do. You can dress "sexy" and not dress like a "sl*t." Sexy is more of an attitude anyway-the way you carry yourself and having self-confidence. I still dress sexy (not sl**ty) for my husband, because you don't have to be half naked to look good.

I believe that when someone thinks they are dressed sexy and they feel comfortable it raises their self-esteem, which makes them feel great!
