Okay, where I am going to suggest is about a thirty minute (tops) drive, but well worth it! Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan. My family and I have eaten here dozens of times and although we no longer live in Michigan, we eat here every visit back home!
The number one choice of most visitors remains the "all-you-can-eat" Chicken Dinners which consist of homemade breads, butter and freshly prepared preserves, chicken noodle soup, housemade salads, golden fried, lightly breaded premium chicken, savory dressing, thick, rich giblet gravy with creamy mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, hot vegetables, and homemade ice cream. They also offer traditional steak and seafood dinners along with German specialties as this is German town. It is so much fun to visit too...be sure to check out the world's largest Christmas store...Bronners too! (They offer the best melt-in-your-mouth Christmas sugar cookies year round at Bronners!)
