Everything is Mathematics.
Try to live in a world without Numbers or Geometry. How would you pay for something or exchange a product by another one? How could you get a paycheck? How could someone buy a house without lot a calculations about how much a material ressist?
This is so long to enumerate, this would be just impossible.

Mathematics is the discipline that deals with concepts such as quantity, structure, space and change. It evolved, through the use of abstraction and logical reasoning, from counting, calculation, measurement and the study of the shapes and motions of physical objects.

Good lord! Can't we just give you the meaning of life or something else easy?
Mathematics is the study and manipulation of relationships. Not "relationships" like boyfriend-girlfriend, but relationships like larger than, divisible by, and intersecting.
This by no means does the subject justice, but it's better than webster's entry on "love"

It's the study of sets and the relationships between the elements of a set and the elements of two (or more) sets under the operations of logic and logical definitions.
Numbers (which properly belong to the domain of 'arithematic') really have little or nothing to do with mathematics.
But they do provide a convenient source of good examples âº
