A good rule of thumb is that a storey, not story which is a piece of fiction, is about twelve feet, usually closer to ten. So a two storey building would be twenty to twenty-four feet high, not including the roof.

Well, depending on the age- you can nominally figure for most buildings an 8 foot ceiling, then the next floor's joists being around 10" or so thick, then the base flooring of some kind of plywood around 5/8" or so inch thick, then either the carpeting or the lineolem, then another 8 feet to the interior ceiling, then another 10" thick ceiling, then however the roof is designed- flat, angled or pitched for snow depending where its located- this you would have to measure to determine- call it 9 feet plut 12 feet, so call it 20 feet give or take a bit minimum
