I think being Princesses for halloween is cute!
Cinderella, Belle, Alice (in Wonderland), Sleeping Beauty, they are all so cute and pretty!

I've won several contests with Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction (...right now for the life of me I can't remember the characters name...) and nowadays even younger girls accept this movie as part of pop- culture (though for really young girls I wouldn't suggest it or you may get a call from your local welfare agency due to the content of the film.. I was 15 when I came up with this and it went over amazingly):
All you need to do is:
1. Get a white dress shirt and a pair of black capris (99% of women already have this) Flat and simple sandals complete the clothes
2. Get a black bob wig (this is a standard wig so you don't need to spend more than $10.00 to get it)
3. Pale your face a bit with white make up and then do harsh black eye liner and red lipstick; darken the undereye circles of your eyes with purple shadow, and the same can be done in the creases of your nose and mouth..
4. For extra measure, do a little blood trickling from a nostril.
5. NOW THE KICKER.... take some of that fake scar stuff and apply a liberal amount to your chest, smooth it out so you have a mound in the middle but the edges are semi-smooth, and simply stick a syringe into it to complete the look. (It'll wiggle, but you can always re-adjust.)
Honestly I have used this as a stand by costume for like 10 years and have probably won about 800$ in cash and prizes for it and it is very simple...though if we are talking about a really young kid, glamorizing drug overdose probably isn't a good idea.
Otherwise it is cheap, maybe 20- 25$ and goes over well and since you feel like Uma Thurman and are in relatively regular clothes, you feel wonderful and sexy.

well me and my best friend have been thinking on something along the lines of what everybody wanted to be in kindergarten when they "grow up". something like a fireWOMAN, policeWOMAN, or doctor.... or something like that you know?? but we're gonna add a twist to it and make the costumes kind of sexy.

I don't know where she got it but my gf last year wore a gangster girl costume with a fedora type of hat and fake machine gun. she looked dangerous and sexy
