Fortunately you can get by selling baked goods from home. The laws aren't as tough on you for that as they would be for catering. Just make sure that you have a clean kitchen and that you have a good pest control guy because the laws will look at that. Sell specialty cup cakes or wedding cakes as these are hot sellers. Although you can make other types of party cakes as well. Good luck.

Hi there, If you live in Canada, anything to do with food, you have very strick guidelines to follow. I have my journeyman's certification as a Chef & any catering at all is very touchy with the health board & it should be. Good luck.
