No I couldn't I believe people make mistakes and should be forgiven of their mistakes, same as God forgives us.We do terrible things all the time can you imagine if he disowned us.
( we would be in trouble )
I would ask my family member why they did what they did and tell them how I felt about it .

i could never disown my family but i can certainly stop associating or talking to them. i've done it before.
