My veins are like that too, and so are my moms AND her moms. I dont think there is any medical issues to be concerned about. I used to think they were kinda cool, but now.... I dont. They become more prominant as you age.
It is only a cosmetic issue.

I do and always have. The skin on the back of the hands is very thin, and the veins appear very prominent. If you hold your hands up over your head for a few seconds, you'll note that the veins disappear momentarily. That's because the blood flows out of them toward the heart. Obviously you can't go around all the time with your hands over your head, so there has to be a more permanent solution -- right? Well, you probably won't be too thrilled with it. It involves grafting some fat from some other part of your body, like the abdomen or buttocks, and grafting it onto the back of the hands. Seems kind of drastic, doesn't it, to correct a problem that is mostly cosmetic and inconsequential. If you have fair skin, the veins will probably show up even more. But I consider it a minor problem in the face of all the devastatingly serious physical problems that exist in our world. I say forget about them and concentrate on your best qualities such as your beautiful thick hair, smooth complexion, fantastic figure, etc. Just use a lot of hand lotion to keep your hands nice and soft, keep your nails nicely manicured and wear beautiful rings. No one will notice the veins because they will fade in the background compared to your other qualities. Oh, and don't forget to smile frequently!

I do too. I have more like bulges in the veins that stick out, like a clot but they're not. I was told that it's nothing to worry about although my Dr. used it as another time to tell me to watch my salt intake :)
