The capital of The federal Republic Of Nigeria is ABUJA.
Abuja is probably the most modern purposefully built Federal capital anywhere in the world. Abuja is situated in what is aptly termed the geographical centre of Nigeria and the reason why the capital was moved to this area from Lagos (the former capital) is to make it easily accesible to all parts of the country.
Abujas plan is probably based on that of Milton Keynes in the UK.
If there's such thing as an African capital abuja would probably be a top candidate. Most African diplomats love to hold meetings and confrences there.
