I presume you write this because they could only draw at Reading today?
Instead of blaming United why not praise Reading?

As n earlier poster pointed out quite well, Reading played the better game. They ahve been tipped to be relegated, but I think they will pull a Wigan and make their mark on the tables this year and survive.
As for United, the loss of Giggs has been hurtful. This is made worse because park, a natural winger is alos out injured. Kieron Richardson and Fletcher while they can play the wing, are not up to the level of Park or Giggs and the offense suffers.
I think the lack of a true holding mid shows as well. O'shea can play there but he is not the best.
Overall United always seem to stumble at some point early. If they can just keep close to Chelsea and eventually hit their high point later, were bring the Title back to OT

Well I guess Rooney will have to work his way back into some match fitness after coming off the three match ban, but I thought he did OK. I think Sir Alec has to find the right combinations against the relevant competition as you are correct in saying they have a multitude of talent.Having so puts a lot of pressure on a team to live up to spectators expectations. They will find their feet again. Reading played well today though. Ronaldo did some nice things today but failed to finish a lot off and gave away a fair bit of possession. Just need to play consistently.

After all, football is about team work and I think Gigg's injury is a big blow for MU as they don't have a leader on the field to carry the team.
They played much better with Giggs available and won 4 straight league games. Without him, the are now playing as individuals...

i thought man u played well enough even without giggs but reading's defensive plays were very effective and that tilted the balance a bit. i think rooney's mad scamble for the ball told it all - they can try but nothing was ever gonna work against that striped wall, lol. man u's my team but i think reading totally earned that draw.

I definetly agree with you.I have no idea. But that loss to Arsenal dealt a major blow to Man Utd.Reading is a pretty good team too, but you could tell that they were not playing their best.I think Manchester needs to get their **** together before they rank even lower.

I think that they need to work more as a team and stop showing off (ronaldo) pass the ball more create more chances and they'll be top off the table all the time!

I think now they are starting to miss Ruud' s (RVN) departure ;-)), since the match with the Gunners.... what do you think?? Perhaps they are thinking Ruud will put a goal and so they are looking for him on the field, trying to pass the ball to him....LOL..
Now which goal machine will boost them up????
