It particular is! They shown it on television on the start of the school 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and were able to get about a 12 foot fountain from a 2 liter bottle. They made a paper funnel to on the on the spot load the Mentos into the bottle.

Yes, I tried it at work and it went up like 6 feet or more. I used Diet coke and mint mentos. Ignore the guys saying that no it isn't real,I promise you it is, and it is cool.

It's real. It's an awesome thing to try. Just be careful when you do it, I ended up getting a Diet Coke bath.

If you're talking about them shooting out of the bottle - then yes. They did it on Mythbusters not too long ago. My sister-in-law tried it with her grandkids and said that you really need a funnel or something to get them into the bottle quickly though.
