someone made the comment that only Republican respect religion...

they repect Christianity... but religion consists of all religions... do they respect Islam? Budism? Hinduism?

they talk about prayer in schools... but would they support prayer of these other religions in schools?

would they support equal treatment... that means everything they want for Christianity, also allow for other religions?

what do you think?

(for those that have trouble recognizing a "question", I'll simplify it... Do Repulbicans support freedom of all religions equally in America?)

I don't think I've ever heard one supporting the rights of a religion besides Christianity personally... not that it's never happened...

just wondering?

EDIT: I've heard some (not all, granted) say that student should be allowed to pray out lout in class, some even say led by the teacher, Christian prayer I guess... would they support the same prayer in other religions if there were children with a different religion in class?

Robodem... you can't even answer the question when I explain it to you... thanks for wasting both your time and my time yet again...

I'm really starting to wonder, since I don't see you posting on all the other horrible questions on here... that maybe I'm doing something right, since you keep harping on me... you're about as democrat as Bush and thanks for the encouragement...

Some Republicans really do respect all religions. Some respect all reglions but not atheists. But most of them are really only concerned about Christianity. Ask a conservative Christian and he or she will be the first to tell you that they are "under attack". What they mean by this is that they aren't allowed to force their religion onto others.

As a Christian myself- i does no longer refute the guy who posed the question you gave as an celebration cos it truly is authentic. Scientists won't be able to educate the international has existed for over a million years or what ever they say. even with the indisputable fact that- if a Christian changed into to submit a some thing that announces atheists must be wiped off the face of the earth and that Christians must have 0 tolerance to atheists and that i changed into to go back for the time of one of those question- i ought to vehemently refute it, via the indisputable fact that form of attitude is inaccurate and is going thoroughly opposite to what the Bible instructions us (to love our enemies)

don't think so.

but then it's impossible to support "all religions" because there are an infinite number of religions. i could start worshipping anything I want and call it a religion, so nobody can really support all religions.

It's clear that they have open animosity with atheists.

Additionally, their unending support for religion within public schools WILL favor the religion of the majority. So we can state that they do not favor the religion of the minority by proxy.

YO CREO QUE DEBEMOS RESPETAR TODAS LAS RELIGIONES DE ACUERDO AL PUNTO DE VISTA QUE LAS VEAMOS; SI QUEREMOS QUE RESPETEN NUESTRAS IDELOGÍAS TAMBIÉN DEBEMOS SER RESPETUOSOS CON LAS IDEAS DE OTROS, AUNQUE NO SEAN LAS NUESTRAS, ESO NO QUERE DECIR QUE CAMBIEN NUESTRA FORMA DE PENSAR, PERO CUANDO LA IDEOLOGÍA ES DESTRUCTIVA CUALQUIERA SEA DEBEMOS FRENARLA O DECLARAR LO QUE SENTIMOS AL RESPECTO…
Saludos desde Sudamérica: Isa

I BELIEVE THAT WE MUST RESPECT ALL THE RELIGIONS ACCORDING TO THE POINT DE VISTA THAT WE SEE THEM; IF WE WANT THAT THEY ALSO RESPECT OUR IDELOGÍAS WE MUST BE RESPECTFUL WITH THE IDEAS OF OTHERS, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NOT OURS, THAT QUERE NOT TO SAY THAT THEY CHANGE OUR FORM TO THINK, BUT WHEN THE IDEOLOGY IS DESTRUCTIVE ANYONE IS WE MUST RESTRAIN IT OR DECLARE WHAT WE FELT ON THE MATTER… Greetings from South America: Isa

Republicans stand for freedom of Religion. They support religous clubs in all schools. The problem is that when Religous rights start to come under attack, attackers start with America's most prominent religon, christianity.

i believe every person has a right to pray to whom ever they want. if kids in school want to pray to allah then just let them. my child would be praying to the true king, Jesus Christ. I'm a christian and i believe kids should be allowed to pray in school, even if that means some or one of them prays to allah or whomever. it wont affect my child cause she knows who the real God is anyway.

this coming from the "japanime dork" as you so bluntly put it, and yes they do seem to respect all religions equally. I see no rhyme nor reason to think otherwise.
