Peanuts. I realize it is an old one and Shultz is dead but nothing even comes close to touching Peanuts. Charlie Brown poor guy but who can't relate to him once in a while. Linus has the best advise for just living life and who hasn't known a Lucy or 2 in their lives.

I love Preteena Comics (By Allison Barrows) because I love how Teena and Jeri have their everyday life! (Especially how Jeri couldn't get over with Johnson's break-up. It was so funny)! If they ever come out with a comic book like that, I'll buy it! Preteena is my #1 Favorite Comic in the Detroit Free Press!!!

Number one is Get Fuzzy. I'm not a fan of dogs or cats, in real life or (usually) in comics, but these personalities (mean and stupid, and just plain stupid) both define and transcend the species. The Boston angle helps as well.
Number two is Boondocks, unfortunately on hiatus right now.

I like "For Better or Worse"
Its followed the Patterson family for years and has tackled many tough and controversial issues during its run. It is nice to see the children grow up and have children of their own and to see a little bit of our own lives within the strip.

My favorite of all is Calvin and Hobbes. Unfortunately, the syndications don't publish the cartoon anymore.
I enjoy the mischievous, rough and tumble boy filled with imagination and his loyal sidekick seen only by him. Many children experienced some form of this in their early years.

Walking Across America....I found it on the web and I have it sent to me via email everyday. It's a good strip about a young man and a dog walking across America. It's funny and educational too! The web site is walking-across-america.com.

Pearls before before Swine/Calvin and Hobbes.
Swine is full of animal kingdom and satire and makes me laugh the hardest. Calvin and Hobbes has everything a good comic needs-good characters, good humor, and good art.
