Actually, Islam didn't start until the mid 7th century AD. The second wave of crusades occurred around that time, so when the Europeans invaded, many were killed, and some of the Arabs they were fighting were probably muslim, though it was yet a small, young religion. During the third wave of crusades around 1400AD, a much greater percentage of the Arabic peoples were Muslims, so there were probably a lot more Europeans that were killed by Muslims during that wave. But don't forget...The Crusades were an assault on where these people had been living for time immemorial! The Europeans struck first...and hard. They killed millions of Arabs before the Arabs managed to gather together an alliance of nations to drive out this attacking force.

Can't be several thousand years ago, since Islam was only started in something like 600 A.D., or 1400 years ago.
The first Christian who got killed by Muslims because of his religion was probably named Keith or Marion or Joey. Very likely it was at a night club, in an argument over a girl - that's how these things always start - and it was probably in Petra.

It was probably some crusader who was killed for raping someones wife.
Don't forget, they were tolerant to all religions until we Christians started going after them.

Happens all the time. Christians are not too popular in countries with a population leaning towards extreme forms of Islam.
