30000/2000=$15/hr

About $15 per hour. Always divide the annual amount in thousands by 2.
$60,000 = $30/hour...

at 40 hours per week it's about $15/hr. For a rough estimate, just take the annual salary and half it even diviid by 1000. Or vice versa.

It's not enough to live on, trust me. That's what I make!
Anyway, here's your breakdown.
$30000/year * 1year/50week * 1week/40hour = $15/hour.
Where the other folk have gone wrong is assuming you work 52 weeks per year! You don't. You get a week off at the holidays, and another vacation week.

$3.42 is the right answer.
That's how much you are actually making per every hour of the year.
This however, has nothing to do with how much you make while working.
I don't know how much you work, so that answer is impossible to find out with the given information.

Depends on how many hours you work, and what tax bracket you are in, and if you are talking about how much you would make per hour BEFORE or AFTER taxes are taken out.

assuming you meant 30,000 , then
30000/(24 * 365) = 30000/(8760) = about $3.42 an hour

365 days is 8760 hours
so divide 30,000 by 8760 is 3.42 So $3.42 an hour.
