practically not possible !its due to nature of national geography, social structure, dominance of gandhism and maturity i general people ( and that's why our politicians are doing so much 'tagad-dhinna').

Local may be, but country wide no.

This is because the way arm forces are set up. Example India has various ethnics regiments as far as army goes, most coup are done by army generals or some high ranking officer, correct me if I am wrong but there is not a single recored coup involving Navy or Air force, to the best of my knowledge.
