Black people from Africa were brought here forcibly for slavery. Other people who are black in color but from other areas immigrated voluntarily.

blacks were forced to come here because of slavery. that is hardly immigrating. i mean i guess they did move, but it was totally against their own will.

Yes, when they heard there was an abundance of jobs here as slaves, they came in droves. Filled whole ships. Hey, a job is a job. Isn't it?
