first of all don't panic there are many very minor reasons why you may be experiencing these symptoms. for example if you have played sports or perform a job with repetitive actions or computer based you may simply have over stretched nerve pathways in the neck, shoulder, elbow or wrist. In addition recent injuries can cause similar symptoms. Although there are of course more serious causes for these symptoms they are far less likely. With that said it doesn't mean you should ignore them. Your body is letting you know something isn't right. Further investigation is absolutely necessary simply to put your mind at rest and to start resolving the problem as soon as possible.
I would suggest either making an appointment with your G.P again asking him to potentially refer to you for a neurological assessment at your local hospital ( where they will test the nerve pathways that are involved in giving the symptoms) or visiting a local chiropractor who is trained in neurological assessment and can assess your muscles and joints for sprains or nerve entrapments. Of course the latter is private so will incur costs but it may be quicker and if referral is neccesary it will be encouraged.
The important message is that it is most likely very minor but still be sure to get it checked. at your age now resolving the issue could be quite simple, later in life it gets harder.

Think you should be asking for tests anyway.
A friend of mine had something that sounds similar to what you describe and is still undergoing tests with no real outcome yet. Apparently it could be muscular or nervous. One strange thing though, it affected her teeth!

might be shingles, could be repetitive strain injury, mild stroke? insist upon tests for every possibility.
