Few possibilities.
1. You were once angry about your brother. Dreaming of being shot and killed is a way to revenge your subconscious guilty feeling.
2. You have anxiety about his security. Your subconscious mind projected death so that you wanted to pre-view what it looks like. Basically, you are insecure about people around him.
3. Too much movie and media effects caused you dream something like that

Maybe that you think he is doing something dangerous and might get hurt or die.
IS he younger or older than you?
Had one similar to that about myself and so far it has not come true. unlike others that did but not in the way the dreams played out.
you may have been in a lucid dream state where everything seems clearer and more real.
Everybody has dreams about those they like. and the more they like them the more clear the dream seems. especially around puberty time. when the body is all ready in hormonal upset.

it just happens that when you constantly keep thinking about someone or something,there comes a point where its natural that it sometimes might happen it affects your after sleep moods and which can turn out be dreams and night mares ,so dont just worry and relax and the best way is to drink lots of water before sleeping and there is a good article that i found on why people deram take a look at it

I've read some books on dreams and they say that if you dream of someone dying, it just means that their life is going to change.Not drastically, but something changes.

What kind of relationship with your brother? this could mean some kind of represent maybe a desire to beak away from someone in ur family. I mean do u have issues with him?

It means you care about him, but feel you cannot protect him at all times. Possibly he leads a life that is on the wild side and you worry about him.

ive had dreams before where they have came true, so just keep your brother away from sorroundings that you pictured in your dream.
