Dump some baking soda in the drain and then pour some vinegar (any kind). The two substances interact by foaming and the action can loosen clogs. I've used it successfully for hair clogs in the bathroom sink.
After the foaming stops, run hot water down the drain.

We always keep this mixture on hand:
1 cup of baking soda mixed with 1 cup of salt.
Dry mix those 2 ingredients together in a container with a tight lid. Keep it ready with a liter bottle of vinegar.
To use:
First heat a "kettle full" of water to boiling.
Then dump the dry mixture down the drain.
Follow with the vinegar.
Wait at least 10 minutes while it bubbles up (a lot)
Rinse with the boiling water - slowly - you don't want any to splash back up into your eyes.
If that doesn't do the trick, then your problem is probably mechanical and will have to be repaired by removing the trap (pipes under the sink).
Since most tub and sink clogs are caused by hair buildup along with soaps, this procedure works pretty well.
BTW, the baking soda and vinegar provide lots of fizz and the salt acts as a scrubbing agent.
Any help?

You can try putting some baking soda down the drain followed by white vinegar and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. This may not be strong enough for a really tough clog. Try using a plunger, too.

There is the clog? If in the bathroom, you may try bleach. It will eat away hair and that try of thing. It will take time. If in the kitchen, Pour hot(boiling)water down the drain, and a lot of it. Do you have a plunger ? Use that in both cases.
