My concernis legroom and comfort. A Sportster is too low. Most of the major manuf's make a 400cc and some a 600cc. I'll be doing mostly city driving but want to be comfortable on a long high-way trip.

There are currently 3 scooters on the market in the U.S. that are over 400cc. Kymco makes a 500, which is pretty nice, and reasonably priced. Honda has the Silverwing which is 600cc's, and of course if you want the best; the Suzuki Burgman 650. All 3 are very nice machines, but the Burgman 650 is much roomier than the other 2. I am 6'5" and 265 lbs, and have rode all 3. If you really want the low down on the bigger scoots, go to BurgmanUSA.com. While most of the people there own the Burgman, there are several who have owned others, and they have all the info you need on them.

Biggest scooter I know about is only 250cc.
If you want something more than 250, how about a motorcycle that looks like a big scooter? The Honda PC800, Honda Pacific Coast Highway.
