*level one is found easily in the text ex: where does the story take place? these are recall questions.

*level two is interpretive questions, they require making inferences.

*level three includeds universal situations. ex: in what ways do parents influence their children to be respectful of life? these originate from the topic of the book though- like in the cat in the hat ex: should children let in strange cats if it concerns safety issues? or something like that...
