I am sure many would have. People from all countries have immigrated to the U.S.

Yes, I do think blacks would have "immigrated" to the U.S. if there was always slavery, since that is precisely what actually happened.

Did you mean to ask "would blacks have immigrated to the U.S. if there was never _any_ slavery?"

Of course America wouldn't be the powerhouse it is today without the blacks but that is an entirely different subject.
