Are they all the same bike??

I think the r has the GYT kit for more hp, 5 or 7.

These were a high performance kit from your Yamaha dealer that consisted of a chrome lined cylinder, race piston, jet kit and expansion chamber. They added 7 hp to the 250, making it 30hp

Totaly differant bikes. dt was steel frame air cooled. dtr alloy frame, mono shock and a new liquid cooled power valve engine.

dt125 was aircooled
dt125r was water cooled (i think)
dtr125 newer version of above

when i had one it was just called the DT125LC and for a learner bike i would recomend it to anyone unless you have short legs.
