I have the biggest driveway on the block, and there are always idiots who use it to turn a around in, I wouldent mind it so much, but I have already told them to stop, and they do it when the kids are riding bikes in the driveway. It's making me mad, can I shoot the tires out too?

They are my kids in the driveway riding bikes, and the people turn around in the driveway with my kids riding in it.

Lol, the shooting the tires out part is sort of a joke, I don't even own a gun.

do not shoot out there tires, not good. But as far as the spike strip goes.... why not. It's your property and if you want a spike strip on your property than do it.

A spike belt would show the world that you have a limited
imagination and no regard for a practical solution. You would
be viewed as an uneducated rebel.
Sink two posts in the ground with some concrete at the bottom of the hole.
Then fabricate a wrot Iron gate that reaches across the width
of your driveway . And for gods sake man , Get rid of all that hatred you have from being too ignorant or poor or perhaps both.
each time they turn around in your driveway your anger grows
a little more intense. You should have done something about it on
day number one. Now you sound like a madman ready to shoot out tires. You are really a dumb ***

You probably could if its only on your driveway and not near the sidewalk. But if you really think about it, if you put a spike strip on your driveway what would happen? Think of the trouble that will arise if cars keep ending up on the spike belt, it would cause traffic right in front of your house, and they would have to wait for a tow truck or something. Or worse, what happens if one of your children falls on it? I think the best solution is to just park your car or cars in front of the driveway, that way the other drivers have no entry to your driveway. Just park parallel to your driveway, and its not blocking anything because you own it! It will also help to form a barrier for your kids from cars.

it would be nice but can also seem as selfish. If its only upsetting to you when there are kids in the yard, why don't you just put up two posts at either end of the yard. When the kids are playing in the yard you just pull the a rope across from one post to the next. That way, they will not be able to turn into the driveway once the kids are playing. By doing this, no one will think you are selfish and it would just show you being protective of the kids. Remember that sometimes people just need to try to get along and with the price of gas sometimes it might be cheaper for them to turn at that point. Try to show you do care and not being selfish.

Two posts sunk in cement at either end of the driveway entrance. Get some nice steel cable with hooks and a couple steel eyes that you can screw on the top of of the posts. Screw some bike reflectors on both posts and you are set.
BTW, check your homeowner association and your local city code to make sure some asshat won't rat you out because you violated some Mickey Mouse rule.

It s ok parking in the driveway with your own car but dosen t stop idiot amature drivers who I would nt call drivers hitting your car as they see a small space on your driveway to use it as a turning point, besides that I was allways told never to revers onto a road, should always pull out forward so when it s clear you can see and go without causing problems to on coming traffic.

It's your property, you can put whatever you want on it. As long as it is YOUR property and you don't rent. That's actually a good idea. Forget the children! But you can't shoot their tires. Stick with the spike strip.

You can block the entrance with a gate or a chain. I've seen people place their trashcans at their driveway entrance to discourage others from using it to turn around.
