I would have to say dogs!!! any breed!!
I love all animals but canines are best for a pet!

I've always had cats...they keep you company, they bathe themselves, low maintenance all the way, and they always know when you need a friend (seriously)...very loyal and independent...best pet to ever have...

It would have to be canine, non-shedding, small & tough, fearless, and fiercely loyal. And of course gray in color.
