No because that's how most of them got here. If you knew how many has come here from Africa since then, that's how many would be here.

I'm not really sure what you're asking...number of blacks in the world? In the US? Yeah, maybe fewer, because from what I understand, the conditions in Africa were not good (not worse than slavery conditions in the US, but maybe more were dying over there), so if they'd stayed over there, perhaps the population would not have grown so much. At least over here, slave owners usually gave the slaves enough to eat to stay alive. I'm going to add here before someone takes my answer the wrong way that I'm sure that many slaves would have preferred being in Africa despite whatever trying conditions were over there versus barely living in slavery. And of course, there were slaves who had pretty comfortable lives over here.

I think the U.S. would be a different place if slaves were not brought here. I think we have provided a lot of things to this country and America may not be the same place that it is now. Blacks were made to give free labor and build this country, and have made many contributions to science, music, art, thousands of inventions, etc. America may not have become as successful as it is finacially without all the contributions of blacks. people may not want to come here as a melting pot if it was the same as a third world country filled with hnger and disease. So it may not have as many people of any race if it wasn't the same America. Black people were also at the forefront of the civil rights movement here, to provide equality for all. Who knows America could have become a communist society. You never know about things like this.

So what are you saying, black people should thank white people for slavery. You're an idiot.

In the U.S.? Of course not. And there would be a lot less white people here if we never stole the place, either.
