I think angry is same as mad, but pissed off is worse. You can be angry about anything but when you are pissed it is usually at a person who has done something to upset you. See upset is same as angry, but when we are pissed because someone did something to us nothing can upset us more because it affects our pride, hurts our feelings, cuts like a knife and then there is always the one who betrays us which will piss us off and hurt us .Oh my goodness I feel like Crissy from Threes Company. LOL.. Does anyone get what i just wrote?? Oh and remember it is always better to be pissed off than pissed on. Sorry old joke.

The difference between the two is that the word angry is an acceptable, clean word having a definite meaning of being vexed over something that irritates somebody.
The other word is clearly a blatant vulgarism that, unfortunately, is becoming increasingly popular in today's society, one that should be avoided because of its very nature of being offensive to right-thinking people.

It's pretty much the same thing. Angry is just better vocabulary. Pissed off is more slang.

Pissed off is a vulgar term.
People who are angry don't pissed off.
People who are pissed off are both angry and pissing off like they can't control of their anger and have to let all of that "stuff," urine, or anger come out.

Angry is when well you are just mad about something that happened. Pissed off is when you are so angry you are about to explode.

Angry is when you have something to be angry about, pissed off is when you are just pouting because life isn't fair.

I doubt your chum meant to direct their anger at you; it in all probability purely needed someplace to flow. it somewhat is not very enjoyable to be on the receiving end of anger you do not deserve, besides the undeniable fact that it isn't enjoyable for the guy who would not understand why they're offended the two. Take it from yet another bipolar guy or woman - it somewhat is not meant to be very own. the version is that with a prevalent offended temper, there is mostly a reason at the back of you to be mad and it somewhat is continuously a reasonable reaction to regardless of it is it is making you mad. With bipolar ailment, you will possibly be horribly depressed or thoroughly enraged or regardless of, and each so often you incredibly have a reason to react that way, yet lots of situations the two it somewhat is thoroughly out of share to something that took place or it could each so often purely... take place for no reason. Our moods tend to spiral very rapidly, for extra appropriate or worse. each so often people get caught in the midst of it and that often sucks, for each guy or woman in contact. :(

being pissed is more severe than just being angry, but pissed is more widely used because people don't know this little tidbit of info.
