I know two things. First: At 58 I am more than twice your age. Second: My pile is still growing.

Seriously, you may not be one but your writing sounds like you are a quitter. If that is not true, get off your butt and quit whining. Let your poo poo fertilize your life, not smell it up. If it is true, you have nothing to look forward to, absolutely nothing. You are not apt to survived a leap from the middle of the Golden Gate bridge.

BTW, at your age I had already survived a war. Maybe you should consider some time in uniform.

My dear Tom, I think you sound like a very confused young man. Where are your parents, siblings, or friends.? At the age of 23 you have no idea what lies ahead of you. Maybe the reason you can't find a decent job is because you are undereducated. Education is always worth the time, and money. Not only to produce a good job but to let you experience the knowledge of culture, and what is around you. I can't imagine why you would even consider ending it all at your age. You really have'nt lived or even loved. I'm fifty five, and my twenties, thirties, and forties were the best years of my life. I went to college, and it prepared me to have the ability to chalenge any, and everything I thought might be wrong. Think twice, and also think about therapy to put you back on track. Also remember that your parents can be a wealth of good advice if you confide in them. Good luck.

Most people at 23 feel that way. You want everything now and don't usually have the means to do so. Be patient and enjoy what you have now. Good luck.
