Hi, I think birds make great pets. I have had many small parrots. They are great companions and love to be heldand cuddled. Certain breeds such as the senegal is a quiet bird and sweet as can be. They are the perfect beginner parrot. If you want smaller go with a cockatiel, they can be a bit noisy, but are great at being handled. A quieter sweet bigger parrot would be the hahns macaw, or greenwing macaw. All birds can be loud to a point, and macaws and conures are your loudest as a rule. Hope this helps.

I had rabbits for years. There's this cute little breed called the Holland Lop which is what I raised. Rabbits are relatively easy to care for. Also, cockatiels are fun pets to have. If you get one young, they can be taught to talk and whistle tunes and can actually be preety friendly. I have 3 of them! However, nothing beats a cat or a dog as a pet!

Rats make excellent pets, they're completely trainable, they're lovable, etc. They do need to at least be in pairs though I do suggest three just because if something happened to one then the other would be alone. Rats should not be kept alone though, they need to socialize with at least one other rat as they groom each other and interact constantly. Rats can actually have psychological problems if they're kept alone and you don't play with them for at least an hour or two a day because it's the equivalent of solitary confinement to humans.
If you do consider rats though then please buy a book called Rats by Debbie Ducommun, rat owners swear by it.

southers flying squirrels are the greatest pets in north america, if you can get them before their eyes open and bottle raise them. otherwise they will never get real tame.also you will need to do your homework before you start. they require a large cage, a good nestbox, and you absolutely must know how to handle them properly in order to keep from being bitten. if handled improperly you will most certanly be bitten! feed infants condensed goat milk/ watter 50 50. put towels on a heating pad set on low. sugsess is almost certan. houdini

Deffinately a song bird, or a quaker parrot. My friend had a quaker and it was the sweetest thing that i had ever seen. It also had A LOT of personality and character. It would dance with us and do cute little tricks. You can also teach this kind of bird a few words.

A cockatiel, they are pretty low maintenance, but depending on the personality they can chirp pretty loud at times (when their water or food is out.) Also, hamsters or gerbils can be good pets, as well.

Rats are supposed to be excellent pets. I was going to get a couple until my mum (who I don't even live with) freaked out lol.
They are very intelligent, love cuddles and can even be trained to do small tricks.
