After typing a e mail I did spell check.and then it all disappeared.How can I find it .I did search , Nada?

That has happened to me quite a few times. Its lost, sorry to say. I don't know why that happens, it gets me so mad.

well go to trash and check if it is there.happened to me b4 and i found it there.
