The ending of the HBP (6th book) left milions of readers furious and frustrated towards Snape...although some claim that if you read between the lines... Snapes action could have been innocent.

Snape is a self-centered EVIL wizard!
Yes, some people refuse to believe Snape is a bad guy. They come up with scenarios that would keep him on the Order's side, even though they are contrary to facts established in the series. Each as implausible as the next, in my opinion. Here are some of their popular theories: He didn't want to kill Dumbledore, but _had to_ because of the Unbreakable Vow, (which he didn't have to make in the first place), he killed Dumbledore because he was dying anyway and it would prevent him from blowing his cover with the Death Eaters (as if that justifies murder), Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him and had prearranged it (Dumbledore wouldn't have asked him to damage his soul - killing is the ultimate act of evil) and the ridiculous idea that Snape and Dumbledore took polyjuice potion and switched places (Dumbledore is supposed to murder an unarmed Snape.)

Snape is GOOD! I believe that Snape was with Voldemort and then Dumbledore convince Snape to be good. So all this time Snape has been a double agent for the Order of the Phoenix. People think Snape is evil because he killed Dumbledore but I believe it was planned for Harry's well-being and for other reasons that I think will be revealed in the 7th book. Can't wait!
