Hi, I have a whole slew of old comic/sports cards (ones that before the internet would have sold for quite a bit), but I am wondering: With technology going how it is going, and interest in paper novelties such as these, comic books, etc., will the value ever go up?? I have a mint condition Michael Jordan from 1993 and saw it on ebay for 1.99 :( Is it hopeless? Should I just throw them away?

Don't throw them away you can sell them all to me. To be honest with you they will go up. They are like the economy supply and demand. When the demand comes back for them the price will go up. Just sit on them and wait and don't do anything you will regret.

With the way that online auction sites keep getting more and more poular, and with the number of users on these sites growing and growing the value of sports cards/collectibles will keep going down. There is a much higher supply of cards then there is a demand, which is why you see those low prices. It is not all the fault of online marketplaces however. There are to many card comapnies out there making way to many different cards. As an example it used to be that there were 3-4 rookies of major people, there are now tons of rookies out there. The card comapnies have flooded the market with cards, which along with the worlwide online marketplace has killed sports card c ollecting as many of us once knew it.

save them till you're older because, I have a mint-conditioned 1st version Poliwrath, and performance had it for 4 yrs., and individuals attempt to pay me $100+ for it, so at the same time as they provide up making Pokemon playing cards, that card is going to be well worth a lot more advantageous, because they're going to in no way make it back, or maybe if that's so previous, the others who've one maximum likely did not save the cardboard in solid difficulty, so yours must be 2 circumstances more advantageous then they are meant to in the experience that they are mint-difficulty. I advise procuring a binder that has situations to carry them. I have a binder made for Pokemon playing cards, so as that they carry them one by making use of one and reflects them, so that you'll be able to look at them and enable human beings appreciate them at the same time as preserving those playing cards in acceptable difficulty! So back, do no longer promote them now, because you could get distinct money in 25 years.

Some go up, some don't.
There are many factors involved.
If you have one of those food vacuum packing machines, seal them up & store them a few years.
As the supply of available cards/books drops, the prices may go up.

Unforunately, Yes, throw them away or advertise them on E-Bay - collectibles ARE ONLY OF VALUE to OTHER COLLECTORS.
