In my opinion, there will NEVER be another Shirley! It's been more than 70 years since she started acting and no child star has even come close to matching her popularity. More than 70 years and Shirley Temple dolls are still in production. More than 70 years and little girls are still being compared to her. She was one of a kind and I can't imagine there ever being another one like her....at least not until I have a granddaughter ;)
