Yes and no.
Like Clinton lied about his personal life. I think that is ok. Bush has lied to the American people about things that affect us and has gotten people killed. That is wrong.

After the last six years, it would be nice to have an honest president again for a change.
It would be really nice to have the one we (the majority of US voters) elected in 2000, until the US Supreme Court jumped in and appointed Bush..

depends on your definition of honesty. sorry, couldn't resist that one (clinton and all). no it does NOT matter to me. i'd hope he's a good liar, so that he can play our hand intelligently and run a good bluff if need be when he's in a poker game-like situation. politicians are not successful if they're totally honest. total honesty is destructive, not constructive, especially in today's society. no thank you. i don't want an honest president. i want someone who can deliver a line like no other, to protect our country and our freedoms and our loved ones who are away from their homeland fighting to protect the above. i'll get off my soapbox now. thanks.

How could a president be anything BUT honest? I mean, if we can't believe him, then what CAN we believe?
We might have to start THINKING before committing to BELIEVING...

A little honesty would be refreshing. it doesn't help to keep a whole country of people in the dark.
