Lip Piercing?

Question

I'm currently 14, and I will be 15 later this year. For my birthday, I would like to get a lip piercing, but before I ask my parents, I want to do a little research. So I've been looking around online, reading about the care and such for before and after, so I can show my parents I have some responsibility. I want to know (a) what is the procedure of it and (b) how badly does it hurt (from a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most painful) and in which way it hurts, such as a burning pain, stinging pain, ect.

getting a piercing is a big responsability.first we mark the place on your lip which is to be pierced, then we clean the area and put clamps to make sure there are no veins or muscles or arteries in the way, this is to keep peralysis or bleeding out from occuring, please realize ive beenpiercing for over 5 years now and there are never definete situations.anything is possible, so check your piercer first..its best if they are app certified. it will itch for a long time sometimes, not every one has this problem. just take care of it and remember your mouth is filthy nomatter how clean it is.. and infections can lead to amputation , paralysis, or bleeding to death . anything is possible , the pain level is minimal though and if you take care it can be a very pleasant additive to your expression.. hope this helps. im not trying to scare you out of it , just trying to educate..

i have it, it will hurt 4 a lil but once u get used to it, its better and u may want to watch out about cleaning it and stuff , practically its like getting ur ears pierced.
