What would be an awesome homemade Halloween costume?

I'm female 7th grader. I want to make a costume with clothes i allready have. Something just a little bit scary, like a dead bride. It doesnt really have to be scary. Anything is fine. As long at its fashionable. Just Give me ideas on a costume and tell me how i could make it. Ok thanx.

heyy. im in 7th grade too! You could be a bloddy/zombie nurse. just an apron, some white tights, and those little hat things with a plus on it.

Are you a fan of the board game "Clue"? I went as "Mrs. White in the billiard room with the rope" one year.

First you need to dress up as a maid; black polo shirt, black skirt, white apron and white hair band. Then you need to carry around a weapon, (in my case a rope tied up like a noose) and something representing the room ( I brought my magic 8-ball).

You can make them any weapons really, like you probably have a relative that has a wrench. And if you wanted to represent the kitchen, you could bring a small frying pan. You could even go as another clue character, like Ms.Scarlet if you had a red dress!

The Wicked Bejeweled Queen:

MATERIALS:
black outfit (leotard, skirt, and shoes)
purple fleece
12- by 40-inch piece of fake fur
scissors
hot glue gun
shiny black poster board
fake gems and costume jewelry
maraca
dark lipstick and face paint
press-on nails

Time needed: Under 1 Hour

Half Asleep/Half Awake:

Cut some pajamas in half, and sew one side to half a pair of pants and half a shirt. On the asleep side, put your hair in curlers, wear no make-up, keep eyes closed and wear a slipper. On the awake side, curl your hair, wear make-up, and wear a shoe. Carry a pillow on your asleep side, and a briefcase on your awake side.

Cut jeans and a flannel shirt in half and sew to a half of a miniskirt and blouse. Add a work boot and high heel shoe. Cut a toy hard hat in half and attach it to a "big hair" wig. Wear a five o'clock shadow on one side and make-up on the other.

Wear black clothes, a black cape, and a Phantom of the Opera mask. Then add a cowboy hat, boots, and a toy gun and holster.
