Yes, you only live once, why not spend it if you have it? I would *love* to play in zero-gee!
And for every dollar I'd spend, I'd set aside a dollar in a foundation, so that when the technology improves, dozens, if not hundreds, of poor kids could afford to spend a week in an orbital hotel.
Think about it. Twenty million bucks buys a couple of weeks on the ISS for our millionaire tourists now, but that same amount of money would buy a heck of a lot of airline tickets... which is within shouting distance of what a ticket to space will cost in a couple of decades.

Probably not.
Too much to experience down here.
Too many more pressing needs for the capital on the Earth's surface, and underneath it.
I have read about space travel all my life & am not against pushing back the frontiers of anything.
It just doesn't seem as important as many other things.
