I love Survivor, always have and always will. The show has ultimately NEVER been about how the tribes were initially split up, but about how they are able to overcome their differences and work together to SURVIVE. And believe me, just because the tribes were split by ethnicity this time doesn't mean that those 5 people in each tribe are all alike. The contestants are having no problem finding other reasons to like or dislike each other besides their race!
I expect this season to prove that ethnicity makes no more difference than sex, age, professional background, or anything else ever has.

I don't have a problem with it. You know, on many other seasons, people of like color tended to align with each other, so what's the big deal. Already, I think we can see some unraveling of teams. Just because people have the same ethnic background, it doesn't necessarily mean they are of the same work ethic or educational level. Look what happened last week, when the Hispanic tribe deliberately lost a challenge so they could vote out one of their own members. This could be the most interesting season yet.

I can see where the initial fuss was coming from. But it turns out now it was all for little.
Ozzy thinks he's standing on top of the world now that he's sent Billy packing. While a tribal shakeup can't come fast enough for the only member of the Aitu who didn't appreciate the idea (Cristina), it's something Ozzy better pray against. If the tribes are rearranged and they wind up together again, he's going to be in deep doo-doo. There are more knowledgeable providers out there (Yul) and players who aren't so blatant about their scheming (Candice). As for Cristina, she's not likely to have a second thought (or even a first) about selling him for a song.

THEIR ethnicity. THEIR refers to the people. There is a spatial reference.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, this is shaping up to be an interesting game. I've never seen a team deliberately lose a challenge simply to get rid of a non-productive member. And one has to question whether the old teams would have done that, or been afraid of being tagged for discrimination. With the new team format, that doesn't enter into it.
But what do you think about his claim that it was 'love at first sight' with Candy, who is on another team, when they have never even spoken?

I don't see what the big deal is, really. People naturally turn to those of their race anyway. This time the show did it for them, what's the big deal? I don't think it's making that much of a difference to the survivor game either. But, I could be wrong...

It is alright. I think it would of been better if there was only 3 tribes.
The tribes are too small. with just 5 people each
I watch it every season! and I will for the next....
