why do humans shudder simultaniousely? like, whenever you are doing something, and it is not cold, you shudder and sometimes get goosebumps.

I read in a book that it's reflex of your body to shudder under stress with cold or any other stress, much like sweating and chattering teeth...

I think it is an endocrine reaction - adrenaline? - preparing your body for sudden action if required. The goosebumps lift the hair away from your skin, making cooling faster.
