My ipod froze and I cant reset it, is there any thing else to do besides let the battery run out?

Swith "hold" button "on" and then "off" again then hold the menu and select (middle button) at same time.

What kind of ipod is it. I have a 30 gig and i have never have a problem reseting it. Click the hold button back and forth and hold the center button and menu at the same time...always work for me...if it doesn't wanna reset plug it into your computer and try to update it...if that doesn't work let the battery die...

I think someone asked this about a PSP too.

If it's froze, it's too cold.

Put it in the microwave, zap it with the popcorn button, and voila.

Unfroze.

That happened to my 30 GB video ipod and i couldnt restart it either, so we called the apple, and they said to delete all of your songs and start over. Your purchased songs will stay there, if you stole your songs they will go away, its just getting rid of the ones thats messing it up, so you should probably just call apple and see what they say.
