I haven't but my ex husband once pulled a baby out of a carwreck before it exploded. He handed the baby to someone else who got the credit for the rescue.

Yes!I did cpr on a 2 years old boy when I was babysitting, the family put it in the paper and it went from there.Maybe you should talk to the paper or the family of the baby. But saving someones life is a reward itself. What he did will not be forgotten!
God Bless!

Yes, I prevented someone from crossing the street at the wrong time. It's easy to do in Manhattan because everyone is rushing everywhere, and everyone jaywalks. The person I saved said, "Thank you."

I saved my best friend from drowning when we were younger. She thanked me whole heartedly! ... She got caught in an undertow and was not a Strong swimmer, I was able to grab on to he and pull her into shore. She was not breathing by the time we reached the beach. Had to give mouth to mouth, which helped. It was scary at the time, but Thank God I was a lifeguard at the time. How lucky was that !

i pulled some kid out of the drink,,(the harbor) and his step parents curse me out for not watching him even tho the child was alone riding his bike and i would never have heard the kid screaming for help because i was running a tractor that was very loud,, and on the job , nor did i know the kid..or see him fall in ,, i shut off the engine to remove a net from the blades thats when i heard him. the boy would have drowned to death had i not gotten a net caught in my blades because there is a concrete bulkhead around the entire area so he had no way to reach the lip to pull himself out..

I saved a choking woman in a department store. She had already passed-out from choking and lack of air. After doing a himlick (sp?) on her, she got up continued shopping.
