We are all corrupt in one way or another.

But Missouri Congressman Jim Talent does stick out in my mind. Back in '94 he started as a freshman during the Gingrich Revolution.

He tried to refuse the $200K money for a personal staff in Washington. He said, "I don't need it and don't plan to stay in Washington all the time." He got shut down by the good ol' boys in Congress and told to get with the program.

Talent showed that he had a conscience, but of course committee membership is based on how well you play the game and if you can't get on the right committees....let's just say you play 2 innings and be cut...

Two names come to mind right off, one of which is not necessarily a politician... Ross Perot and Kucinich.

Perot because he had his own billions; therefore, rejected special interest groups influencing him.

Kucinich because in a nutshell, the man has more integrity in his little toe than most politicians have in their entire body. If he doesn't believe in an issue, he will reject special interest groups in a flash.

properly that is incredibly the gadget, as those style of 'events', are incredibly 'companies' registered in Dun & Bradstreet. All companies purely exist for 'earnings', so use the individuals. we live in a company international, as each thing is locked under company regulations, so what sounds like corruption is barely employer of our companies. yet we bypass on balloting for greater.
