In my opinion, Grey's Anatomy is the best tv show. Of course thats because its my opinion. The worst tv show....that I am not sure of. But when it comes to censoring tv, you are going to get lots of mixed answers. Personally, I dont think they should be taken off. I think they should be on later (which many are) and on certain tv channels; not the ones many kids are going to watch. Some people will say too much censorship will make children too unaware of the world, some will say they will be exposed to it soon enough. I agree with the fact that there is too much of that on tv, maybe they should tone it down. But as far as taking it off; no. We cant keep children boxed into a 'reality' where nothing bad happens and people dont use curse words.

I think the best TV show is the CSI groups. The worst I don't know because if I see or hear something I don't like I just don't watch. I think most of the shows shouldn't be seen by children but I also think that a child needs to be aware of what life is about so they can be protected and protect themselves. I think a child is very vulnerable if they are protected from everything and then don't know how to deal with it when something comes along that they need knowledge about to make a decision about it. I think everyone has to make a choice of what they let into their homes and minds. So even if the bad words and sex are there you make the choice to turn away.

The best show right now is Deal or no deal, and the worst by a country mile is that reprehensible, inexcusable, unforgivable piece of crap laying in direct sunlight with flies crawling all over it, Desperate Housewives.
No, shows that aren't appropriate for kids should not be taken off. Send the kids to bed. Don't take away the grownups' entertainment. TV isn't just for kids, remember?

The best TV show is definitely Everybody Loves Raymond. The worst TV show is Survivor, and yes I do believe that shows with crude language, and sex scenes should be taken off the TV, so, younger children do not get the impression that it is cool to swear.

I like CSI and I like to watch Ghost Whispers! There are some shows I don't like but I'm not going to say there bad! Just my opinion.
I think its up to the parents to control what the kids watch. Nobody makes us buy a TV or get cable or satellite. Its the networks stations, I guess they can air what they want! The best thing to do is cover the bases with the kids first. Keeping them away from TV isn't going to do much good when there hearing and seeing twice as bad in the real world!

There are a lot of good Comedies like Full house, Threes Companies, Family matter, Everybody Loves Raymond to name a few and if they take off all the shows with words like that nothing will be on because even Threes COmpany sometimes uses that stuff.

Best TV show--Scrubs. It is funny but can be touching and sad all in the same episode.
Worst TV show--Desperate Housewives. Overrated and annoying. Who cares that these rich chicks need sex all the time?
As for your final question, I think parents should monitor the TV viewing habits of their children. I enjoy Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck on FX, but I would never let my little cousins watch it. They're not appropriate. For parents to expect the FCC to edit things for their kids is ridiculous. That is why you can block channels, use the V-chip and why TV now has ratings.

Best show is Survivor. Worst show is Sex and the City. I don't think any of the shows should be taken off. Parents should monitor what their kids watch.

Well my list would take ages to be completed but I'm gonna give you a few from Friends to Will and Grace (which are finished *sniff*) from Lost to King of Queens to 24 to Grey's Anatomy to Charmed to Everybody Loves Raymond to One Tree Hill to 7th Heaven to Desperate Housewives to All Of Us to Summerland to a couple of dozens more!
P.S. Too much TV is bad for kids. Don't let them watch unsupervised. Actually don't let them watch until they reach 6 years at all (except dora and barney and such maybe)! After that just let them watch one or two shows a day (max.)!!

There are many entertaining shows on television nowadays, but I wouldn't want my child being exposed to a lot of the material. There's not too much family-oriented material a child can watch on television after 8pm nowadays. I don't think they should just be taken off though. I, as an adult, enjoy many of these shows.
